International Development Consultants (IDC) was established as a Firm in year 2001 under the company Ordinance to provide interdisciplinary consultancy services in development fields both in public and private sectors.

The affairs of company are managed by a Board of Management with a leading role of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) under the guidelines of Chairman. The company has an advisory committee which periodically convenes meetings and imparts there information regarding the, issues and concerns at national & international level.
IDC professionals have gained wide range of experience having successfully completed a number of development projects for various national and international organizations implemented with the assistance of UNICEF, ADB, UNDP, AusAid, USAID, World Bank, IFAD, FAO, JBIC, JICA, and Netherlands.

The company provides highly technical and professional services in multidisciplinary areas of impact assessment, resettlement, training & capacity building; social & economic development; water resources development & management; agriculture & natural resources; environmental impact assessment; planning & design, IT/data management; finance & business development. The social & economic development wing also provides the services for social mobilization & community development, organizing and conducting seminars, workshops, consultative meetings, group discussions, learning tours, off-the-shelf & tailor-made courses to the stakeholders.
IDC also offers opportunities to the students for internship and provides assistance for completing the research/ thesis of Masters, M. Phil and Ph.D. students at universities, colleges and other institutions.
